Brussels 鈥� The European Tyre & Rubber Manufacturers鈥� Association (ETRMA) is 鈥渄eeply concerned鈥� by a European Commission (EC) proposal to ban the use of rubber granules as infill material in synthetic sports surfaces.
In a statement supplied to聽ERJ, ETRMA warned about the negative 鈥渆conomic consequences of the ban for the tire recycling industry, the continuation of material circularity, and the impact on CO2 equivalent savings.鈥� …
