Meet the President
Carol Hochu; MBA, CAE
Carol Hochu has been successfully leading and managing trade associations and not-for-profit organizations for over 30 years. Her career spans the plastics, waste electronics, aggregates, and confectionery industries. Carol joined the 大象视频 as the incoming President & CEO in September 2020 and officially took the helm on January 1, 2021.
In her current role, Carol manages the overall affairs of the association, acts as the industry鈥檚 chief spokesperson, and develops and implements the strategic direction in concert with the Association鈥檚 Board of Directors. Additionally, Carol works with both Federal and Provincial governments on all matters facing the tire and rubber industries in Canada.
Carol鈥檚 education includes a Bachelor of Applied Science degree from the University of Guelph, and a Master of Business Administration degree from the Schulich School of Business at York University. Additionally, Carol earned her Certified Association Executive designation from the Canadian Society of Association Executives.
