The European Tyre and Rubber Manufacturers’ Association (ETRMA) has co-signed the Manifesto of the 

CheMI works as a platform to voice perspectives and concerns of downstream users of chemical substances or mixtures across manufacturing industries and contributes to successfully implementing the REACH Regulation.

As a member of CheMI, we join the other industry associations in calling on the EU legislators to: 

• Consider the impact on downstream users when regulating chemicals
• Enhance market surveillance for fair competition
• Set as priority the competitiveness of European companies
• Foster better regulation
